Phnom Penh 25 February 2018: Hattha Kaksekar Limited, the leading microfinance institution in Cambodia, recently injected its registered capital up to USD 30 million, making its net worth to USD 150 million. This additional funds was put in by early 2018 to support company business initiative with aim to further provide financial services to demanding market as well as to remain a strong positioning of HKL in Cambodia financial services industry.
Oknha Hout Ieng Tong, President and CEO of HKL said that we were informed that the newly capital injection was resulted from backbone support of Krungsri Bank, HKL’s parents Company, and was recognized as second capital top-up due to the satisfaction from parents company on HKL business performance in 2017. With seriously understanding on HKL business direction 2018, Krungsri had a positive expectation that he newly added capital would contribute to HKL to further growth both in short and long term. In response to this solid support, he on behalf of HKL management and staffs would like to express profound thanks to the parent company, Krungsri Bank, and committed to achieve business target, aligned with group business initiatives.
