Hattha Kaksekar Donated a School Office and Study Materials worth More than USD 40,000 to Students in Pursat Province

Phnom Penh, November 29, 2018—Hattha Kaksekar inaugurated the school office, and donated study materials with a total budget more than USD 40,000 to students and teachers in Pursat Province. The event was presided over by H. E. Mao Thonin, Governor of Pursat Province.

H. E. Mao Thonin expressed his appreciation to Oknha Hout Ieng Tong and the Senior Managements of Hattha Kaksekar who keeps socially supporting to the education and the health service in Pursat. 

Addressing at the inauguration ceremony, Oknha Hout Ieng Tong, President & CEO of Hattha Kaksekar, said that, “The Senior Management, employee of Hattha Kaksekar, and I are very pleased that we can contribute to the development of education in communities and we believe that the new facility will serve the best interest of the teachers and the students for their daily performance and study. It’s our commitment to contribute to the development of our country as much as we can. ”

The newly-built-school office with two rooms for office and one room for meeting is 144 square meters. After the inauguration, the school will use the old office as the classrooms for four sessions. On this occasion, each of 187 outstanding students received study materials such as books, and pens while the other 170 teachers received some contribution in cash. 

Mr. Chheng Rith, the director of Pursat Primary School, said that, “I am so thankful to Hattha Kaksekar for their contribution to education in Pursat. The new facility will let the teachers to have better working space and meeting room.” 

It is not first time that Hattha Kaksekar provides social support to the community in Pursat. Hattha Kaksekar has built a building at referral hospital in Kravanh, education buildings, and many others.
